Beyonce and Alicia Keys were meant to be releasing a duet in the near future, however, Keys has put this on hold. Keys has stated she has done this because she wishes to release another track first.
The delayed song in question is ”Put It In A Love Song”, which recently had a video filmed in the slums of Rio de Janiero, in Brazil. Keys has instead insisted on filming a music video for her upcoming song ‘Un-Thinkable’. The track was meant to feature Rap artist Drake, however, Drake will be featured on a remix instead of featuring on the original track.
Whitney Houston, due to carry out a European tour has been forced to postpone the tour. This Is apparently due to her doctor’s orders, who states that Houston has been suffering from an upper respiratory problem.
The tour will now take place on Thursday, instead of Paris, in which it was meant to take place today. Even though it has been postponed, there has been doubts over her health over recent performances and tours, although the singer insists she is in great health and shape. Houston has already released her come back album, ‘I Look To You’ late last year.
One of the most popular female artists of 2009, Lady Gaga, is once again going to release a track, which is supposedly the sequel to number 1 hit ‘Telephone’, featuring Beyonce.
The track named ‘Alejandro’, is Gaga’s preferred song to be released, although it has apparently received negative press from radio stations in the US, and even her company prefer another track of Gaga’s, ‘Dance in the Dark’. Gaga has stressed that the song will be released, along with a music video, and it will be the seventh hit of her debut album, ‘The Fame/Monster’. Other tracks on the album include ‘Bad Romance’.
The ongoing science fiction drama, Doctor Who, made a return on Saturday, April 3rd. It wasn’t David Tennant though who would now lead the show, instead, it was young English actor Matt Smith, who now leads the show. Between 6:15pm and 7:30pm, the show took 7.66m, which by far makes it the best watched show on primetime.
Smith plays the notorious Doctor, now regenerated into his eleventh regeneration, to take on familiar, and not so familiar foes, including: The Master, Timelords and Daleks. The last time the show was aired, Tennant was the lead actor and the show was split between two Christmas specials.
New Indie band, 30H!3 have announced plans for a tour.
The duo are known for their recent top ten track ‘StarStrukk’, which includes ‘I Kissed A Girl’ artists Katy Perry. The band plan to travel with fellow Indie band ‘Cobra Starship’. The duo have joked at how they will be travelling in a small bus, even though the smallest of the two bands bandmates height is 6ft 1, with the largest being 6ft7.
The duo have an album expected to be released later on in April this year, with their tour featuring all of the songs found on that album.
Indoor entertainment involves any entertainment we can experience inside a house, or place. Types of indoor entertainment include either arranged entertainment, or personally arranged entertainment. Arranged entertainment is something that is scheduled by others, that is meant to entertain individuals in their homes.
This can include: television, films and the radio. Personally arranged entertainment is where people get together and organise their own type of entertainment. This can range from singing, dancing, parties, guessing games and board games. Either of which can be fun, depending on the amount of people present and the type of entertainment which is available (i.e. what television channels are available etc).
The worldwide famous female pop band, the Pussycat Dolls, who originally began as a dancing group featuring Carmen Elektra, have seen their ups and downs over their career. With some of the girls being jealous over the limelight which the lead singer, Nicole Scherzinger has received, tension and stress has spread throughout the group.
The recent member to leave the band is Ashley Roberts. The blonde singer and dancer has decided that enough is enough and that she’d prefer a career out of the group, preferring acting instead. Nicole has stated that this is not the end for the band though, and that she has been working hard on new tracks for the group, with her hope of releasing an album for this year.
Cheryl Cole, soon to be Tweedy (or so believed) has had a traumatic month. Her husband, Chelsea and England left back Ashley Cole, has been found out to have cheated on the Geordie singer. He has apparently cheated five times, which is why Cheryl has decided to call it a day, although a divorce is to be confirmed.
Peter Andre, another celebrity to share the media spotlight attention for similar reasons, sympathised with Cheryl and offered his support, following his public divorce with Katie Price. Cheryl has just released her new song, ‘Parachute’ and is in the middle of releasing her debut album, named ‘3 Words’.
Entertainment is several methods in which we can look to enjoy ourselves. It can range from television, sports, video games, music and other such types. It is where we as people can enjoy a certain event, paid for or not paid for.
To be entertained, means to be kept happy for a prolonged amount of time by a person or several people. A good entertainment usually involves a lot of humour, tension, romance and drama. The more an individual is entertained, the more likely they are to either carry on watching the entertainment and even watch it again (if possible).
Peter Andre has had a lot of media attention this year. When he and his ex wife Jordan, also known as Katie Price, split up, magazines and television articles about him would not stop. Before their divorce, the divorced couple had their own television show, about life during their manage which was screened in the week on ITV 2.
Katie Price has since gone on to date and marry Alex Reid, who has also shared the media attention by entering and going on to win Celebrity Big Brother. Andre has since looked after his children and has had several interviews regarding his split.
