Sky one’s new dating show Loveland will be hosted by Blind date ledgend Cilla Black.
Black hosted Blind date for 18years which pulled in viewers of 17 million during its peak. The show boosted Cilla Blacks career, making her a common household name.
the new TV show Loveland, is very simlar to Blind Date but with a 21st century twist. Instead of hiding behind the Blind Date screen, It will see contestants hiding behind real-time animated characters. The contestant will then have to pick which character to take on a date. The show is due to go live on Sky One next year.
The 65 year old said of the new show: “Loveland captivated me with its modern-day twist on the dating format, bringing something new and exciting to the genre.”
