The Sony radio industry awards nominations have been announced and Chris Moyles and Russell Brand have been nominated for their shows on Radio 1 and Radio 2 respectively.

Moyles is up against Johnny Vaughan from Capital 95.8 for the best breakfast show, with Brand also competing with Vaughan in the entertainment category.

BBC Radio 2, Radio 4 and 5 Live are all competing for the UK station of the year.

The awards will take place at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London on the 12th May. The full list of nominations for the Sony radio awards can be seen below.
