Golden oldies Sean Connery and Anthony Hopkins shared the title of favourite actors and Dame Judy Dench came top of the favourites beating Dame Helen Mirren and Julie Walters. just shows the old ones are still the best!
The poll on behalf of Virgin Media came up with a few surprises as one of the front runners was Daniel Craig.
Still for me Sean Connery is the best. He was always my one and only James Bond. He still has charisma and charm despite his 70 something years and has managed to keep at the top of his career.
Roxanne McKee, or better know as Louise Summers on the soap Holly Oaks has admitted that she would like to pursue a role in a more serious drama.
Although she has claims not to have any plans to leave Holly Oaks in the near future, she is keeping her options open and considering a future in film and period dramas.
“I just try to think positive,” Roxanne told Celebs on Sunday magazine. “I want to do a period drama - I’d love to be in a bonnet and a big flouncy dress - and I’d like to do a play, because I’ve never done one before. And a film.”
When asked how long she will be staying at the channel 4 show, McKee said:-
“Well, I don’t think I’ll be there when I’m an old lady, but I’m contracted for a while yet. I’m still enjoying it. I will leave at some stage, though - my family and my home is in London.”

Well if you liked the first Sin City (2005) then you be excited to hear that there are talks regarding a sequel to the hit movie.
The 2nd installment will also be directed by Frank Miller and will continue some the the original stories we saw in the first film. It would also seem that Angelia Jolie has her eyes set on the movie.

George Carlin, who is better know as ‘Rufus’ from the well know 1989 movie Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure sadly passed away yesterday.
He checked into the St. Johns Health Centre in Santa Monica yesterday complaining of chest pains and was soon after victim to heart failure.
George was born in Manhattan, his claim to fame started who his comedy routine ‘Seven Words You Can Never Say on TV’. He was even arrested in Milwaukee back in 1972 after his sketch on charges of disturbing the peace.
He produced 3 books and 23 comedy albums, he was the voice for Filmore in the animated movie Cars. He also stared in Jay And Silent Bob Strike Back and voiced episodes of Thomas The Tank Engine And Friends.
George is survived by his wife Sally Wade, daughter Kelly, son-in-law Bob McCall, sister-in-law Marlene and brother Patrick.

Britney Spears’ little sister Jamie Lynn Spears, has given birth to a baby girl on Thursday morning at the tender age of 17.
Jamie Lynn, who is best known as playing Zoey in the US Nickelodeon Zoey 101, (which was axed in January this year), was taken to Mississippi Southwest Regional Medical Centre in McComb where she was induced into labour, and finally gave birth to her daughter, Maddie Briann. Maddie weighed 7 pounds 11 ounces.
We wish Jamie Lynn and her fiancé, 19 year old Casey Aldridge who is known as a ’serial cheater’, all the best and luck as it is not easy changing dirty nappies and getting no sleep!
Little Britain’s Matt Lucas and his partner Kevin McGee are to separate just 18 months after their celebrity gay marriage. There is said to be no one else involved and that the couple have just”drifted apart”.
Matt’s career has gone from strength to strength and the couple have been spending less and less time together.
The split is likely to cost the Little Britain star millions. Although they have only been married for 18 months the couple had been together for about 4 years. Kevin has been the supporting partner during Matt’s meteoric rise to fame.

It looks like we will soon be seeing Matthew Perry back on our TV screens again as he it due to play a foul mouthed TV host in a new US cable show called ‘The End of Steve’.
Perry, or as we all better know him as ’Chandler Bing’ from friends, seems to have taken a short break from TV till now. He did have a short spell back on our tv screens on Studio 60 On The Sunset Strip, which was cancelled after the first season.
Peter Tolan, the writer and director of the new show said:-
“Matthew and I are in the process of writing six scripts. Matthew plays an absolute s**t who has an afternoon talk show in Rochester, New York.
“He’s stuck there and desperately trying to get out. When you first see him you see Matthew Perry as you know him on camera and then he walks backstage and it’s foul language.
“The first thing you hear out of his mouth is the ‘C’ word.”
