Last night George Sampson was crowned the winner of ‘Britains Got Talent 2008′.
The Young break-dancer competed against 10 other finalists for the £100,000 prize and a chance to play for Prince Charles at the ‘Royal Variety Show’. He stormed to victory with an updated version of his ‘Singing In The Rain’ routine that got him through the semi finals earlier this week.
George had auditioned for ‘Britain’s Got Talent 2007′ but didn’t succeed, however he didn’t give in and stepped up his game from last year. Simon called him the dancing version of Rocky.
After the result, George said:
“I’m speechless - wow. Just thanks so much. You have changed my life.”
George has previous stated that if he won the money he would use it to pay off his mums mortgage.
Funny dance duo ‘Signature’ were runners-up, while Andrew Johnston, the 13-year-old opera singer Andrew finished in third place.
