Wentworth Miller had been complaining regularly about having to still pretend to have tattoos around his body whilst filming season 2-4 of prison break however, he has finally won over the shows bosses as they have been removed from his character ‘Michael Scofield’ in this season.
Miller explained the practical reasons why he wanted the tattoos removed:-
“It was a fan favourite the first season,” he told the Star Telegram about Michael Scofield’s full torso tattoo containing an encrypted map.
“But then Michael escaped - mission accomplished - and suddenly it was just something that had to be borne rather than be something that could be used as a plot device.”
“In 100-degree heat, [I was] wearing long-sleeve shirts because we’re still pretending I actually have the thing on.”
“I am looking forward to rolling my sleeves up,” added the actor, after his request to remove the tattoo during the fourth season was granted by Prison Break’s writers.
