Well rumour has it the Grandad or should i say great grandad Ken has his wicked way with the minx maneating Martha.
She is seen taking his hand and leading him into the bedroom. Is this help the aged or what! I just cannot get my head round this relationship. Older man younger woman, yes but surely you don’t trade your spring chicken of a wife (Deirdre) for and older, older woman.
Is he going to sail off down the canal with Martha and disappear down the Manchester Ship Canal forever or will he stop off at the Library and collect a years worth of library books. Personally Ken i would go for the books if i were you a bit safer to read about it at your age.
Deirdre get out the love and grab some young man quick and have some fun before it’s too late! Kurt could do with cheering up yes he is that desperate.
Why has this series been delegated to a late slot on Sunday night on E4. I love this programme it’s full of twists and turns from one week to another. I got hooked on this series first time and i am gutted to hear this is to be the last one ever.
My feeling towards the spoil brat Jeremy have mellowed, i actually like this guy so much now and feel sorry for him at times. I have had a complete turnaround about Nick. What a spineless moron he has turned out to be. No wonder his wife had a quick snog and a quickie on the settee with Jeremy. For nearly 2 series now Nick has been turning away long lost x lover Karen, daughter of Chip Darling. Long suffering wife has not know from one episode to the next if he will come home to her or sod off with Karen.
Nick you need to get a grip, remember one of the dysfunctional Darling family topped your father!!!. What has happened to you Nick both you and I and thousands of others are desperate to find out.
Karen has to be my favourite character. I love her naive dippiness. She will trust anybody and looks for reassurance and longs to be loved.
One of my absolute favourite character has to be the vicar who has since tossed away his dog collar and entered into the wheeler dealer family organisation. He is so funny, I love his quirky ‘it like it is’ one liners. we have seen the relationship with his long lost son develop into a loving, feeling father
More dirt , more sex more money please
Mel Gibson has stepped out and held hands with his new young bimbo, Russian singer Oksana Grigorieva Who is she? I hear you ask. Skinny gold digger I reply
Mel has traded in his wife of 28 years and their seven children for a muchyounger model. iI wonder if she would have been interested in the old guy, veteran millionaire star of the movie industry..
What happens to these men in their advancing age? I hope his wife can screw him for the millions she deserves. It is a very rare event these days in the movie ‘celeb’ industry for what seems rock solid relationships go belly up.
After all you very rarely get these old geezers going for women their own age and let’s face it, although he’s not so bad looking and looks reasonable for his age, he’s going to get to the dribbling stage well before her. Look out Mel she will be choosing your nursing home!!! perhaps not so carefully!
Good luck to Mel’s x and hopefully she will find herself a ninety year old billionaire - low maintenance but excellent rewards!
Noorul Choudhury, 33, failed to impress Alan Sugar last night and has become yet another fired candidate on the show. However, Noorul was not impressed with the reasons he was fired and has fought his corner defending his quiet demeanour on the show.
Sir Alan felt that Choudhury went unnoticed throughout the programmes, contributed very little and just plain and simply fell ‘under the radar’. Choudhury said this wasn’t the case even though it seemed like it on the show. He blames clever editing to mislead viewers perception of him, as what happen during filming and the final edited cut were very different.
He said:-
“There’s been lots you haven’t seen of me, whenever I have been on the losing team I’ve spoken up. They’ve made it look like I don’t speak for myself.
“In the tasks I came across as quiet, when I wasn’t… I actually offered and contributed as much as everyone else. I just don’t feel the need to be cocksure, arrogant, forceful, bullish and desperate.
“I deal with things professionally like I always have done in my career.”
Choudhury Isnt going to stop though having ambitions plans to start a company with fellow contestant Majid Nagra.
“You know how you get men’s shirt collars that get dirty or stained permanently? Well I want to create a fabric that doesn’t allow it to get stained,” he said. “That’s what I’m working on… I want to use my science experience to revolutionise men’s tailoring.”
He added: “I’ve still got my own business and I’m managing properties, but I’m also launching an online recruitment business with Majid from the show.”

I didn’t think they could pull another series off. Bur the fantastic cast transported down to London from the cobbled north was a masterpiece of genius. The ‘unpolitical correct’ way the police were allowed to function is perfectly portrayed. Male chauvinist’s ruled the roost. Criminals were the baddies, straight talking was the order of the day and the good guys won the daily battle against crime.
Interesting perspective to put in the liberated well educated policewoman, who is so obviously superior in intelligence to her male colleagues. The dynamics between them are a joy to watch.
How will it all end will Gene get it together with the bit of posh or will she suddenly wake up in hospital and get back to her family,
For me the first series will still be the very best. Life on Mars was so cleverley done as the audience was held on tenterhooks right until the final programme. I wonder if they can possible do another series after this one as Gene and his colleagues would have most certainly have taken their lump sums and gone of the Spain to live on the Costas. Now there is an idea!!
Sir
Alan finally gets the chance to get rid of the boring useless science teacher. No wonder the education system is in disarray. The very uncharismatic science teacher could not organise a drunken party in a brewery. Full of pathetic excuses for his continual failure and ability to vanish into insignificance.
He says he will be returning back to the classroom where no doubt his magnetic personality will transfix his class into some sort of trance because i doubt he could hold their attention enough to keep them awake.
He is, as Nick pointed out a ‘nice guy’, but nice guys very rarely win.
Alan Sugar had been waiting for an opportunity to get rid of him ever since the soap episode 2 weeks ago so it was no surprise he was thrown out..
Personally I thought ben should have gone as he is a complete and utter twit. All i can say is thank god he didn’t go to Sandhurst and consequently be put in a position of leadership and with a gun!!! But twits and idiots make good telly! Why else do we watch this programme, it would be a real turnoff if some of the contestants were actually good at their tasks we all like to see them fail and the squirm in the boardroom.
The premiere of X-Men Origins: Wolverine has been delayed becuase of the fears surrounding the swine flu outbreak.
It looks like the release of the long awaited prequel to the Marvel Studios film has been set back until May 14.
Its a bit of a blow to Marvel as the latest instalment of the X-Men franchise is expected to top the $100 million mark domestically during its opening three days, but Mexico could add several million dollars to its box office tally internationally.
The recent swine flu outbreak has led the country’s three largest film exhibitors Cinepolis, Cinemex and Cinemark to temporarily close many cinemas in Mexico City and surrounding areas.
“Theaters are closed, and that’s why we can’t open the film,” said Tomas Jegeus, head of international distribution for Fox. “It’s that simple. But people are more than concerned in Mexico, and it would be stupid and irresponsible to open a film.”
Angelina Jolie has been very busy of late shooting scenes for her new movie Salt. It appears that the long hours and active scenes have taken their toll on the Hollywood actress as she collapsed between takes.
For the role she has had to lose a fair bit of weight which she managed to do quite rapidly - this has lead to fears that she hasn’t been eating properly which would explain why this happened.
The source said:
“It all got too much for Angelina. She collapsed between takes, complaining of shortness of breath and dizzy spells.
“To be fair, it was after she’d filmed a strenuous scene in which she ran around the set, but it was still shocking to see her crumble.”
“There was something very wrong with her fitness levels if she couldn’t handle a couple of action scenes.”
It was only last month that the films producers supposedly had to have words with the star about her weight loss.
In an interesting twist to the a series finale Two Pint Of Lager And A Packet Of Crisps are going to allow the audience to decide how the show will end their 8Th series.
Those of you that have followed the show will be well aware of the love triangle between Gaz, his X wife Donna and his dead best friends old girlfriend Janet. After a few penultimate episodes leading to the final , people can then vote via a web site to determine who Gaz gets with.
Both endings are going to be filmed and the which ever version gets the most votes will be aired as the final to series 8. Hardcore fans will be happy to hear that the alternative ending can still be seen on line.
Channel controller Danny Cohen said:-
“We want to make sure we keep innovating when it comes to schedule favourites as well as new programmes on BBC Three,”.
“The last series of Two Pints included a live episode. For this series we’re going to use interactivity to put viewers in charge of the plot.”
The verdict will be seen on BBC Three on Sunday, May 10.
Although its not a new technological development, many DVD replication and copying firms are now offering piracy protection as part of their service to stamp out illegal copies being made from the DVDs they produce via a macro-vision licences.
Although it will never completely stop piracy, it is a step in the right direction. It doesn’t help the main issue which has caused so much trouble with the films industry at the moment which is illegally downloading movies from sharing sites. Due to the credit crunch people are watching the Penny’s, so would rather download a film for free (illegally) than watch it in the cinema or buy the DVD.
Major Hollywood actors and actresses have also stepped in to help the industry - they all get a percentage of what profits a film makes however some have agreed to only take this percentage after the film makers have at least made back their investment from making the film in the first place.
Most A list actors and actress’s have agreed to taking this pay cut in an attempt to jump start the films industry openly whereas there is talk about making this compulsuary among all of them during these difficult times. This has already started to happen with some actors and actresses being forced to agree to these payment terms.
