These days, nights in seem to have become as popular as nights outs (the credit crunch probably being a major contributor) & I am definitely one of those people fitting into that trend.
After a long week at work, I have to say I like nothing better than getting into my baggies on a Friday night and relaxing in front of a good movie. A movie that I watched again the other night was Casino Royale and I have to say that I really do think it it the best Bond film to date. I didn’t think it was possible for anyone to surpass good old Sean Connery as the ultimate Bond but Daniel Craig does it. I think it’s not only Daniel that makes this Bond the best but the whole package. It has all the usual Bond film traits without any of the cheesiness that Roger Moore & Christopher Dalton did so well. And of course it has the girls & the cars. Is there anything that those cars can’t do, with their vehicle tracking gadgets & turbo speed. I have to say that if I had to have any car it would be the Aston Martin, what about you?
Taylor Swift seems to have the charitable bug at the moment! She has given away her prom dress to be auctioned off in a bid to raise money for charity.
Swift’s, Jessica McClintock long cream and gold prom dress was given to Hearst Magazine’s DonateMyDress.org. The site is part of a national network, the main focus to help girls find their dream dress for their prom night.
“I chose to give away this prom dress because I wore it once and loved it!” Swift told People. “To keep it around, hanging there all by itself and lonely in my closet, never to be worn again seemed a little pointless.
“I want another girl somewhere to feel good in it and have a great prom night because of this dress.”
The country singers gown raised $1,200 (£818)! She also seems to have started a trend as further to this, other celebrities have begun to copy her idea and have also decided to donate their prom dresses to similar auction sites for charity such as CharityFolks.com. Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato and Ashley Greene are among them however, it has not been record as to how much each dress has made for charity.
