Blink-182 To Release 7th Studio Album

On July 1st, Rock / pop-punk trio Blink-182 will release their 7th studio album ‘California’. After Tom DeLonge officially left the band in 2015 hopes for a new album diminished. Blink-182 continued playing live shows after introducing Matt Skiba, formerley of Alkaline Trio to take over duties from Tom. News then crept in of a potential new album featuring Skiba and fans were treated to a brand new track titled ‘Bored To Death’.

Since then a full US tour has been announced as well as new album ‘California’ and another track named ‘Rabbit Hole’ was released.

This album marks a new era for the band who have been around since the early 1990’s and for most 90’s kids, myself included, Blink-182 were pretty much one of the coolest bands around growing up. Let’s hope that the new album is as good as the rest. From what we’ve seen so far, the chemistry has not been lost since the departure of Tom.
