Well a very gory and violent film and provides the fans with what they want, lots of action. The film really tells the truth about life in south east Asia, such as the danger missionaries encounter when trying to reach people in conflicted area and the quality of life people have to put up with.
The story is set twenty years after Rambo three, and we see John Rambo now living in Thailand in the middle of one of the longest civil wars ever seen. After Rambo learns of the disappearance of a group of missionaries he rises up to the challenge and explodes into life. Here we see some powerful scenes as throats get slashed, limbs hacked off, heads blown to pieces and bodies get destroyed by machine guns.
The part of the film that really touches you is the news footage at the beginning as these are real and not especially made for the film and show scenes of violence and living conditions. I am hoping that after seeing the film many of us will take note of how well off we are when compared to others in the world.
